truth is that alcohol is a sedative, which means it will sedate you, not make you sleep. Sedation (unconsciousness) and sleep are not the same things. Drinking alcohol may make you a better dancer and make you feel sleepier after the party, but you won’t stay asleep or sleep deeply. Alcohol breaks the natural sleep cycle and disturbs healthy sleep.
