had imagined something a little more majestic as the aeroplane freed itself from gravity’s shackles and leapt exultantly towards the heavens. The reality was less dramatic. It looked as though the aeroplane had been intending to trundle around the field for a bit but had suddenly found itself accidentally airborne and had decided to try to make the best of it.
