For a simple definition, witchcraft is the magical manipulation of energy to change something.
Magic, which you might have seen spelled as “magick” in some texts, is the method of controlling energy to change events or bring about some positive benefits.
This could be summarized by saying there are two main purposes for a circle: to keep things out and to keep energy in.
