Allah says, “I have not created the invisible beings and humankind except to worship Me” (51:56). The purpose of our creation is to know, love, and ultimately worship our Lord, through becoming an instrument of His unconditional love. The salat is like an antenna that tunes our awareness to the station of divine love that is continuously being broadcast into our universe.
