Bounteous, The All-Knowing” (2:261). We are also reminded in the Qur’an that we are only asked to give according to the capacity that Allah gave to us: “Let him who has plenty spend from his plenty. And let the one whose provision is measured spend from what Allah has given Him. Allah does not charge a soul for other than what He has given. Allah will bring about ease after hardship” (65:07). It is the small steps we take today that become miles tomorrow; acts done with love and consistency create revolutions of kindness and light that overthrow the forces of darkness.
