The divine calling of humankind to be the caretaker or representative of God on Earth is beautifully expressed in Judaism with the teaching of Tikkun Olam or “To repair the world.” The idea behind Tikkun Olam is that if we can see what needs to be repaired and healed in the world, we have found what God has called us to fulfill in His name.
