Wall: This backstory will lead up to a spot where you got stuck and hit a wall. Usually this is where the readers are in their lives right now. They’re stuck, and that’s why they’re open to your answers. You explain to them how you hit that wall and then found the answer. But don’t give them the answer yet. Just open the loop and promise to close it in Email #3.
