According to LRH, each of us has something like 800 million overts—meaning transgressions—and you are never going to get them all out in one lifetime, but it’s being aware that you have them and need to work on them that makes all the difference.

I was doing something wrong in life. Being a Scientologist means you are responsible for all the bad things that happen to you (and anything good that was happening was due to the church),

You are allowed to be friends with non- or ex-Scientologists, as long as they aren’t antagonistic toward Scientology. If they are, you are expected to disconnect or break off all ties with that member, who is considered a Suppressive Person.

Scientologists are often prepared to respond with what’s called dead agenting—a method of shutting down any criticism of the church by disproving the veracity of the source of information.

You can’t give up the details of what’s involved on the OT levels because, you are told, those who are not on them aren’t ready to receive that kind of information. They might die if I told them. No kidding.
