This points to another attribute that the future US military should have: rather than large numbers of people operating small numbers of heavily manned machines, the future force should consist of smaller numbers of people operating much larger numbers of highly intelligent unmanned machines. People are expensive. Putting people in machines is even more expensive. And no one ever wants to pay the ultimate price of losing a human life.
