We were made to image God as beautiful community, but sin ruptured our communion and polarization has been our story ever since. As we said earlier, fragmentation is not God’s story, but it does tell humanity’s story. Ethnic polarization, gender polarization, generational polarization, socio-economic polarization, political polarization, national polarization—for every category of human community we are able to call out a particular polarization.
