One thing I like about this is the mc's are 'normal' in appearance. Not your glamorous looks and perfect bodies. Neither of them are described as perfect etc. It makes them both feel more real and much easier to connect to.

“I guess I prefer my men tall, dark, and grouchy,”

And slightly awkward!

He’d never had a girlfriend? That, in itself, was strange. He certainly didn’t lack sexual prowess.

Bk#2 Mine For Now

Lmbo. Too freaking cute.

But you don’t need to worry about that now.

This one isn't as good as the 1st one. To many repetitive thoughts flowing through Kara's brain. To much thinking!

Small steps, Kara. Don’t expect too much.

incident. What in the hell had happened to him? Had she pushed him too far, too fast?

GRRRR. What started off as a decent story in part 1 has turned into a repetitive slow paced boring read

“Christ! You feel so good. So tight and hot.” His voice was wild, feral.

Way to many exclamations. The dialog has become a bit OTT & cheesy?

“Yeah. Take what you want, sweetheart. Whatever you need.”

Also to much cheesy talking during sex for me.
