You will be Eadmund the Very Sober and Not Going to Humiliate His Father while
Eadmund felt no match for her and her sharp eyes now.
his voice sliding down her spine like a sliver of ice.
That big, cocky, red-headed tree, she thought to herself.
listening to the gentle cracking of frost on his furs.
Jael narrowed her eyes, trying to find the lies in his. But she couldn’t see any, and that worried her. If Ivaar hadn’t killed Melaena, who had?
‘Well, you could breathe on him,’ Jael suggested tartly.
He’d missed her company, more than he’d realised. She was completely unafraid of him, and he was fascinated by her.
Honestly other than dreamers telling Jael she needs to be with Eadmund he's given her nothing to work with. Ivaar is genuinely attracted to her and they seem like a good fit. He hasn't done anything irredeemable yet other than be ambitious (angry Slytherin noises). I'm rooting for them at this point, not gonna lie.
It was not a memory he wanted to keep; the smell of her as she burned.
His father had killed his mother. He had killed his father. Surely that was enough murder for one family?
