The amazing fact is that the post-colonial state in India tacitly accepted this Imperial Justice premise. In its Constitution it deftly replaced Imperial Justice with the enigmatic term—Social Justice; and the anglicized Nehru-Gandhi dynasty became the new set of impartial arbiters after the colonial rulers left the scene.
