It is not your responsibility to save everyone. Don’t put that kind of pressure on yourself. Do the best you can to spread your light where you can.
Today feels heavier than most and tomorrow might too. There is uncertainty lingering in the air. But I have hope. I have strength. Those are two things I can control. I will get past all of this unknown.
It is something I want so badly to be wrong about, but also want to be right about to prove that I wasn't wrong in thinking that way.
Dear Present Me, There are sunrises over here. Coffee you will savor and not chug to stay awake. You smile more than not. When the rain does fall you allow it to hit your cheeks and know that is good for you. You found light over here in the midnight moon. I can’t wait for you to see. Love, Future Me
While you are picking up everyone else’s pieces, don’t forget you have pieces to pick up for yourself too. You can’t pour from a broken glass. Take time for you.
Sometimes you have to love people from a distance. You have the right to create boundaries. You have the right to not pick up the phone and listen.
am afraid that I will let people down. I am the trunk supporting everyone’s branches and I don’t know how to stay standing.
My life may be full of uncertain weather, but the skies always clear and things come back even better.
Maybe it is time for you to shine on yourself for a while. Recognize that you can still see all the other stars, even if for now it is from a distance.
I love you. I’ll miss you. This isn’t goodbye though. It is a new beginning. Not an end.
The past is behind you. If you want new beginnings, then stop looking back. Stop reliving the past. Shift your focus to the future you can have.
Memories lost. Photos that won’t be captured. Moments in time we can’t replace.
There is nothing wrong with the seeds you are planting. You are just in an environment that doesn’t encourage growth. It is time to move somewhere you can fully bloom as yourself.
But we don’t know what is truly buried beneath. We don’t really know what the aftermath is when people face their unwanted weather.
“Don’t forget to be thankful for another day where you wake up with the sun,” they say. But it is okay not to be okay. Lay low and take it slow. Having a bad day doesn’t make you ungrateful.
The horizon is a good place to look at, but don’t forget about the ground you are walking on right now.
You have so much good to come. This is just the start.
Don’t change the script to please someone else.
Kindness needs no certainty, just hope.
Don’t forget the roads you have crossed. The accomplishments checked off your bucket list. Maybe right now you feel in a stand still, but don’t forget all of your progress.
My mind makes me feel like loneliness only lives in me. That everyone else is free. But in reality, we are all a little alone. We just feel like we are the only ones that have loneliness invade our homes.
We are learning through this all that every person holds value no matter how small. You never know who you will rely on the most. Let go of your ego.
It is not scary to be alone. Unless you are afraid of finding out more about yourself. But maybe you need to find out more about yourself.
Let the morning sun peeking through the blinds be a sign that light is ready to shine in your life.
