I like this Aaron Rhodes. Can I play the invisibility game with him?
“I don’t remember my dreams,” I tell the boy with grey eyes. He pinches my cheek. “I’ll dream for the both of us.” “Promise?” “Promise, Elsa.”
“There hasn’t been a day where I haven’t thought about you. Every time I manage to sleep, I dream of you. You were my obsession since we were kids, but now it’s way fucking worse. I don’t know how I managed to spend eight years without you in my life when now I suffocate if I don’t see you for hours.” My eyes fill with tears. “Aiden…”
“Choose me, Elsa. Choose us
“She’s mine, Jonathan. Mine.”
“Once you accept that fact, I’ll accept to be your heir. Until then, you’re my enemy.”
“I won’t repeat your mistake.”
“What is that?”
“An arrow.”
“Bad things happen for a reason,”
I
love that smile. I want to kiss it, not to make it better, but because I love it.
If I have to sit down for another meeting like a puppet, I’m going to destroy something around here.
Bottom line is, I need to go back and fuck the three of them up for even thinking I’d leave Elsa. That will only happen after death. Even then, I might make a deal with the devil so I can haunt her from afar.
Elsa will never be whole unless she remembers what happened that night. She’ll never fully accept me unless she remembers our bloody past. After all, it was all because of me. She might have erased her memory due to all the trauma she lived through, but I was the final nail in the coffin. If she hadn’t done what she did, maybe things would’ve been different. No.
“I’m mad at you right now.” “I told you. We can be mad at each other while I touch you.”
When you have a light in the middle of the darkness and that light dims to nothing, it fucks you up. That’s why my world became black after that.
That day will only come with death.
“You’re not the one proposing, I am.” I groan, pulling her and the stupid bucket into me. “I’m going to fucking marry you, Elsa. You’ll be my wife. My family. My fucking home.” She nods several times, tears shining in her eyes. “You’ll be my home, too, Aiden. Always.”
Next up, I’m going to put a fucking baby in her.
“Now look away from my wife before I create a diplomatic problem between England and the US.”
