“Did you ask Tory Vega out yet?” Xavier asked, changing the subject abruptly to hassle me about that. “I never should have told you I hooked up with her,” I muttered irritably. Though in all honesty I’d needed someone to talk to about her because I was burning up with all the things she made me feel and while this argument still sat in place between me and Lance, I didn’t really have anyone else.
