“It was our Order,” Roxy said grimly. “Apparently our fire can burn right through bullshit.”
Because now I’d had a taste of Grus, I wasn’t going back. That girl was going to be mine.
“This is Gabriel Nox, your new Tarot teacher,” I explained then frowned as his words registered with me. “What did you see?”
“You can trust Gabriel,” I said firmly. “He’s my Nebula Ally.”
YOU ALL PASSED THE RECKONING.
I arched a brow, glancing at Tory. “That’s almost a compliment,” I breathed, and she laughed, but our amusement died away as Orion added more to the board.
THE STARS MUST BE FUCKIN...
This highlight has been truncated due to consecutive passage length restrictions.
Almighty Sovereign Society – Come and join ranks with the rootenist tootenist royalists in Solaria to celebrate the return of the Vega Twins!
“Just try not to screw every guy on the Pitball team, yeah Tory?” Kylie said in a sweet voice and we both spun around in rage.
“In Solaria we have a tradition of giving rose quartz to someone we want to be exclusive with.”
“I was an Airsentry,” Orion spoke at last. “Best damn one in Solaria for a while.”
Xavier: Yes! Bringing anyone with you……..?
In the Palace of Souls, rests a secret untold. Find the light who burned on after the fire...
“Orio! Happy birthday! I almost missed the vision about this, but it looks like I just made it. What time are we heading out?” Gabriel’s voice came and my scowl deepened.
“Fuck, Gabriel, when you said we were coming out with your friends, I assumed it would be people we didn’t know. Not tweedleass and tweedledipshit,” Roxy said,
“That guy is gayer than the day is long, dude. So you flirt with him and I’ll get the neckerchief.”
“You’re so lucky, man. You could just go and be with Tory Vega. Just go and be with her.”
“Blue.” I smiled dreamily, tucking a lock of hair behind her ear. She is so…everything. Does she know how everything she is?
“It’s just…this is Orion’s belt,” she started laughing harder and I grinned.
“I can’t stop, Blue. I know it’s fucking insane. But I’ve stopped caring about the consequences. This thing between us gets stronger every day and I can’t fight it…can you?”
“You might wanna ask Darcy if you really want a friendship bracelet. She’s good at shit like that. Me? I’ll take you on a night out where I’ll steal a motorbike from some entitled prick and take you on a joy ride then drink you under the table so we both wake up wishing we hadn’t. That’s the kind of friend I am.”
“Whatever, take in the stray if you must,” Tory said. “But I don’t recall getting an apology myself.”
Orion’s eyes finally found mine and he looked like he’d just been handed the holy grail.
“Enjoy it, your highnass.”
“Fuck, Geraldine,” I gasped. “Man meat?! Seriously, you can’t call a guy’s junk man meat. Or banana drama for that matter.”
“Shit dude, you can’t break up with someone who was never yours in the first place,” I said, shaking my head as I walked away from him.
“So what? They made you look like you were three peanuts short of a bag, Darcy! I’m not going to just sit back and let them spread rumours like that about you!”
“Well if you don’t want to fight back against them for this then that’s up to you,”
Lance: I shouldn’t have left last night. This never would have happened. Where are you? I need to see you.
“I’ll fight for you too, Lance Orion. Whatever it takes.”
“Wake up, Darius!” I barked. “If you get over this bullshit hatred you think you feel for her, you’ll realise she’s not only perfect for you, but her and her sister are the best fucking solution to your father we’ve ever had.”
“A name is just a name. Here, they call me the Shadow Princess.”
“Yes, the bridge of stars,” the girl translated, a note of desperation to her tone. “At midnight on the last night of the year, the veil between realms will be at its thinnest. That’s when the bridge can be built. Please, you must find a way to do it.”
Vikki Wilson: I wish I had a raven for a best friend!
“And who the fuck is that?” Darius snarled, ignoring me as he pointed at the model Tory looked about thirty seconds away from kissing…or screwing…and if I was supposed to believe the shit in that article then maybe that was exactly what she’d done.
“I’m calling my lawyers and getting them to take every fucking photo of her dressed like that off of the internet,” Darius growled.
Don’t be with him because we were together once. For one, too brief, earth-shattering moment, you were mine. And I never should have let you go.
“Sorry today was a disaster.”
Welcome home dear Princesses. Seek well, search deep. This house hides a secret within its walls. Where wings meet justice, your blood was saved.
“On the darkest day and longest night, I’ll guide you home with love so bright,” our mother whispered, her gaze locked on our father’s. She reached out a hand and pressed it to The Savage King’s chest.
We were the most powerful Order of Fae that had been seen in a thousand years. We were the first Fae to possess all four Elements in living memory.
“Where wings meet justice, your blood was saved.”
“Seek well, search deep.” Mother’s voice filled the air and I stilled.
“Pity. This is the Royal Seer’s Chamber, though none currently hold that position. Your mother was the last great Seer of our generation. There are plenty of others with the gift of sight of course, but none who could See so clearly as her…however, even that wasn’t enough to save her in the end.”
“Gabriel had a vision about me for New Year’s Eve,” Orion said excitedly, taking Darcy’s hand as he looked between the two of us with hope shining in his eyes.
She was my mate.
Elysian mates. Unbreakable. True love.
