Orion offered his hand to Darcy and she took it. I shifted back before Darius could claim mine. “It sounds like the best person to use as an anchor is someone you’d walk through hell to stay with, right?” I asked. “Well obviously the stronger the bond you feel to the person grounding you, the more you’ll want to stay with them,” Orion agreed. “Sounds good.” I took Darcy’s other hand from her lap and she glanced between me and Orion for a moment like she was unsure before releasing him.
