The ice shattered and before I could make another move, strong arms wrapped around my waist, and I was hoisted over Orion’s shoulder. I shrieked in panic as he shot straight towards my open window and leapt outside. My scream carried across the whole of Fire Territory as we fell, and Orion laughed as he used his air magic to slow our fall before we went splat.
