A Nearly Normal Family

These days, however, I am secure in my faith. I have accepted God’s blessing and I let His face shine over me. God is love. God is longing and hope. God is my refuge and my comfort.

Experience tells me that when you dislike someone on such vague grounds, the problem often rests with you.

There’s a verse in the Gospels that says a house divided cannot stand.

Paul’s words echoed in my head: He who doesn’t take care of his own has abandoned his faith in Jesus.
