“Confronting fear is the destiny of a Jedi,” Luke went on. “Your destiny. If you don’t face Palpatine, it will mean the end to the Jedi. And the war will be lost.”

“A thousand generations live in you now,” Luke said. “But this is your fight.”

“We’ve got friends out there. They’ll come if they know there’s hope.”

A voice came to her through the Force, clear and strong. I will always be with you, Ben said. She smiled. Let the truth of it wash over her. “No one’s ever really gone,” she whispered.
