Mac glares at me while maintaining his smile. “Just last week, you had an entire conversation with your salad about how if you could take a pill that made the lettuce taste like crisps, the two of you could actually be mates.” “That was a conversation between me and the romaine,” I quip, hating the way he mimicked my Cornish accent. No matter how hard I try to ditch it, that West Country twang slips out. “And you shouldn’t have been earwigging.”
Fun Fact: I originally had "romaine" written as "arugula" but then remembered that the British don't call it arugula, they call it Rocket! Sadly, the majority of my American readers wouldn't know what Rocket meant, so..it was changed to Romaine! One of the many joys of being an American writer with British characters!

The thought of Mac wanting to shag me is like a Great Dane having the hots for an overweight Shih Tzu. Just not going to happen.

Regardless of my larger size, I enjoy transforming clothing for any body type. I take great pleasure in the simple act of altering something to work with what the good Lord gave people. The world can often feel like a one-size-fits-all place, but applying a few alterations can make life a perfect fit. That and Spanx. God bless the creator of Spanx.
I loved writing a plus-sized heroine! I'm no skinny minnie myself so I really felt excited to put some realness into my character!
