If I’m not their daughter then whose daughter am I?

I can't imagine not knowing. Must be antagonizing.

What I really want to know is where we are as a couple. What are we doing? I want to define who we are. I want to know if I’m his girlfriend and he’s my boyfriend.

Does it really matter?

The thing about truth is that sometimes it’s the easiest thing to say in the world. And other times, it’s like admitting defeat and burying yourself underneath the rubble that is your life.

When you lie, you tend to memorize certain things and then tell them in the exact same way every time.
