I wanted to give her feelings that were impossible to ignore.
She owned me now. My heart was bought and paid for by a woman I’d only kissed twice.
“A room full of people or one with just us, I’ll never deny you.”
“I trust you.” I blew out a shaky breath. “I swear to God those words mean more to me than if you’d said I love you.”
“Those words are more important to me than I love you,”
“Connected by death, yes,” I told her. “But fused together by love.”
I love you enough for the both of us.”
“Oh no, angel. Your home is with me.”
“You asked me what love is, and this is my answer. It’s piece by piece. Moment by moment. Including what’s happening right now.”
even though we were brought together by death, I needed her in my life.
I wanted more. I wanted to be the one to give her more.
“I want to grab onto something that will make me happy.”
“So.” She began nervously. “This is my leg.” Rubbing
“All the other pieces of me that hadn’t fallen for you yet? They all just crumbled. I’m completely and totally in love with you.”
“Eyes on me, angel,”
“I’m not going anywhere, angel. I don’t want to be anywhere you aren’t.”
“I will not forget. I’ll never unhear those words, no matter what.”
