It is the most recognizable thing in the night sky. There is something quite magical about seeing a razor-thin crescent on a midnight-blue dusk evening.
As a photographer, the best pictures of the mood are when it’s a crescent moon. Loved this line!
Because of this, the moon in Buddhist mythology has become a symbol of selfless giving. It is worth considering for a moment how much you are willing to give to help another in need. Would you be happy to give your time, your expertise, your money or your possessions? Or how about just love? Giving without any regard to what you might get back in return is seen in every culture as a virtue and something we can cultivate with practice.
