Such a thin, fragile-looking little thing could appeal to no man, and he preferred his other women, he added snidely. Whether Moquihuixtli really believed he would elicit better terms from Tenochtitlan, or whether he actually wanted to provoke a war and try to topple Axayacatl is not clear;
