“Yeah, you should spread a rumour that he likes Pegasus ass,” Sofia whispered,
“On the lips?” I checked, hoping for a way out. “No, on my ass,” he joked. “Want me to bend over?”
Sofia had spread that little rumour among the Pegasus herd, and we’d been stoking the flames of it through the A.S.S. whenever the opportunity arose.
Oh man, I think I would have preferred an asshole to an Ass.
“Stop looking at me like that,” he snarled, and I fought the urge to recoil from his terrifying tone. “Like what?” “You know what,” he snapped. “I'm your teacher.” “I know,” I balked, horrified at what he was suggesting. That he could somehow read how much I wanted him. “Do you?” he stepped closer.
“Then stop looking at me like that.”
“Then stop looking back, Lance.”
It was like a hobbit hole had had a baby with a penthouse.
“Have I told you how exceptionally beautiful you look tonight, Darcy?”
Not until Orion. And I had never, in all my life, wanted anyone like I wanted him.
“Up there are a thousand reasons why we can't be together.”
He kissed me like he wasn't allowed to kiss me, but if he didn't, he'd die.
“Lance?” I whispered and he stood up straighter. “If I can't call you Blue, you're not calling me that.”
And by normal I meant I'd be smothering the fiery pit of longing that raged inside me every time I was around her
“Altair, fuck what the crowd thinks. I don't care if you're into bondage with leprechauns, leave that shit off the pitch, you got it?”
