even though most people agree that freedom means being able to live your life the way you want, everybody wants different things.
We behave a certain way because we think that’s how we have to behave. We have desires that we think we should satisfy—but is that really true?
Life is meant to be enjoyed. Life is meant to be used.
“Why are you so selfish?!” People say this in a negative way. It’s almost like a curse word. In those cases we should say, “Why wouldn’t I act according to my nature?” After all, it’s not natural to be selfless.
We’re trapped by thoughts of what we should do next. We’re always a step ahead of ourselves.
The emotions tried to keep me busy.
When knowledge increased, my self-esteem did too. And once you do what you desire, you’re free.
Life is better when you do things you’re good at and enjoy doing. That’s the only way you get pleasure out of doing work.
You’re not in a competition with anyone. You do this for yourself. A healthy person is a free person. We don’t value it enough. We only miss it when we don’t have it anymore.
And control is what makes you free.
