“Are you serious? They are doing it because they don’t know how to run the country. Where do you think all our food is going, all the food we produce? It’s paying debts.

“There is no other currency than time. And it’s cheap.”

I put down the phone and walked on, agitated by my powerlessness.

“You never know when you’ll lose what you hold dearest.”
