Ecstasy
Addison just looks...wicked.
He’s got black hair and dark green eyes, olive skin supposedly from the Greek mother that left him when he was a teenager, and he’s just...cold.
It’s how I know she’d be able to handle someone like me.
Don’t you dare allow the world’s hurt to make you into someone that hurts other people.”
“She’ll fuck you up, Alex. You won’t save her. She’ll just destroy you.”
Adonis.
Her: Are you going to get me in trouble again, Eli Adonis?
“You want to experience everything right?” I bite my lip, my eyes flicking between the water and him. Slowly, I nod. “Then let me hurt you. Just a little.”
She’s not broken. She’s not looking for someone to save her. She’s looking for someone to drown with her.
He’s perfect. Alex. He’s not bad. He’s good.
I don’t want to learn about why people are fucked up. I am one of those people, and I’ve realized the “why” doesn’t fucking matter.

“But you are so beautiful, too. So fucking beautiful, inside and out. And you’re funny and kind and your recklessness makes you interesting. And you deserve love, Zara. Whether you believe it or not, you deserve it.”
“I see you. And I think you see me, too, yeah?”
“And call me crazy, which I know is usually your thing, but I’m pretty damn sure I’m falling in love with you all over again.”
“I’ll always take care of you, princess. Not just this week. Not just while you deal with this shit. Always.”
“But I know you. I know you and I know you’re a sick fuck, Eli Addison. Fuck you. Get out of my house.”
But I dealt with Rihanna. And I’ll deal with Alex too.
Until I know Zara is safe, and Eli Addison will never fuck with her ever again.
We cry together over someone who might never have cried for us. We hold each other, and we don’t let go. Not for a long, long time.
“I love you, Alex Cardi.”
Because this girl? The one whose head is against my chest? Yeah. I didn’t save her. That girl saved me.
