WE HAVE FOLLOWED the UN’s overview of the costs of climate change impacts across different temperatures, and used the best estimate from Professor Nordhaus, and we have even added 25 percent to that. This has given us the best available estimate of the total costs of climate change at about 4 percent of GDP by 2100.
