Your timely arrival Was a memorable one. And I thought to myself That this could possibly be The person who can surely Ignite a fire in me. You saved me From myself, And make every day Worth looking forward to.

You are closer to a star On an unpolluted night, Your light making its way to me No matter the distance. And even though you are Hidden at times, Knowing you are always there Brings me a sense of relief.

And a love so strong That when I gaze towards you, I do not question where we stand— For I know the answer Just by the way you smile at me.

When I first saw you I could hardly pull my eyes from you, Leaving me full of unfamiliar emotion, Leaving me breathless.
