You don’t want to be micromanaged. You also work weird hours and often work from home. Why should your EA be any different? Your EA has your schedule and is intimately aware of the work that needs to get done for herself and for you. If she needs to work from home a few times a month or wants to meet a friend for lunch, let her. As long as the work is getting done, there should be no issues.
