“Move,” I snapped, and his eyes lit up for a moment before he stepped aside. I wasn’t going to back down from him. I would match him, blow for blow. I could feel him burning holes into my back as I left the office. He really hated me. Good, I didn’t like him, either. If only I can convince myself that.
He had some stubble there, it was fine and fair like his hair, and felt rough against the tips of my fingers. I brushed my fingers along his jaw line until I got to his lips. His breathing sped up slightly, and his lips parted. I licked my lips. I wanted to kiss him, and I wanted him to kiss me. I ran my fingers along his smooth bottom lip.
When I pulled away, he licked where my fingers had been like he was tasting me. I saw the movement of his hand and looked down. His hands were both clenched by his side. I didn’t know if that was because he was fighting this or something else was going through his mind.
“Show me your fangs,” I whispered almost breathlessly. I was so turned on, my body tingling all over. He tried to pull away from me, but I reached out and grabbed his shoulder and held him. He would’ve been able to get out of my hold, but he stayed. His big hazel eyes turned dark. “Your eyes are so amazing when they turn dark. You don’t have to show me your fangs, but you also don’t have to be afraid to be yourself. I won’t run screaming.
