She doesn’t want to pay a woman to clean her house, that’s too intimate, but she pays a woman to wax her legs in the pink privacy of a nail salon’s back room. She lives a life of contradictions and she’s caught between her own contradictory desires. She wants more and less at the same time, just as I do.
