“I do. Trumanell is a train off the track. Be the mountain in front of her. Stop her fury. Let her go in peace.”
I love the part of “let her go in peace.” Sometimes we hold so deeply into a person, a memory, a love and we allow it to encompass us. But to allow them to go, allow them to move on, would also allow us to find peace. Such a somber feeling.
Life is never yours. You are just renting it out while the landlord in the sky ups the price until you can’t pay anymore. But what are you going to do? Like Charles Manson said, we’re all living with the death penalty.”
We are all the same in the dark. My mother said that to me when she kissed me good night. She meant that in the dark, all that’s left is our souls.
Money is everything. It is life. It is happiness. It is the kind of blind I want to be.
