Very interesting that Littlefinger actually gives Ned an out. From everything I know about him, I always thought he secretly despised Ned because he’s married to Catelyn. It’s interesting. I can’t ever tell if he’s actually genuine or not with these suggestions, his counsel, but then again I guess he already lied about Tyrion having won the dagger so… you know. In my eyes, this is probably a last ditch effort from Petyr to see if he can change which side will win. Should Stark agree, he’ll flock to his side and continue scheming, but if he doesn’t…? Well, I guess we’ll see.
