At one point, the Fated were rulers and warriors of the Fallen. They were ideal monarchs because their abilities were enhanced, or new abilities resurfaced when paired with their other halves. They were difficult to kill because one partner could heal and protect the other from nearly every injury and vice versa. They protected our race and served with strength, dignity and passion. There was a myth that each Angel had a Fated partner, but they were nearly impossible to find, so it was rare when couplings emerged.

One inherently good and one intrinsically evil. An Angel and a Demon. Unfortunately, at this moment, I’m not sure whether I’m the good in this union, or the evil.

Ironic, right? The person I wanted all those years ago, wasn’t intended for me and the person I don’t want, supposedly is. Just another kick in the ass on the way down.

But I couldn’t finish, I couldn’t hurt Luna like that. If she was sick and in pain from watching me get head from another woman, having an actual orgasm with someone else would be fucking destructive.

Wtf. How about the other times that you were able to finish without thinking about Luna's feelings?!!
