This is the signature flower of the Day of the Dead celebrations in Mexico on November 1 and 2. The bright colors and sweet smell of the calendula flower, or marigold, help spirits find their way to their families’ altars and celebrations. The dried flower has medicinal properties and is a great addition to incense blends.
