If the white/rainbow variety of feldspar is the full moon, labradorite is the new moon showing only a fleeting sliver of light. It’s a stone of intuition, meditation, and mental clarity. The luminescent colors of the labradorite were considered to be the aurora borealis synthesized into a stone by the indigenous peoples of the Atlantic Canada.
