The annoying attorney calls again. I’m tempted to block her number, but I can’t do that.

Heard things.
That alone probably made it easier for my mind to make things up.
With the hair on the back of my neck standing on end and goose bumps constantly forming, it feels like someone’s watching me.

I pull on it, but doesn’t budge. Dig my nails into the edges until it finally comes loose.
A knife. And it’s caked in the same color of brown on the bed covering. It’s a bloody knife. The brown on the bed is blood. Someone did die in this house.
Kenzi I drop the last of Claire’s boxes in the entry and take a deep breath. It’s amazing how heavy they are. And even as tired as I am, I can’t wait to dig in. Maybe there are more clues about her secret admirer in these belongings.
