If we are mesmerized by ephemeral sensual gratification then well be lost and dissipated by drowning into deceit and spiteful behavior. As there is no apparently firm and noble reason to strive we'll be smitten by impulsive pleasure rather than following the transcendent ever luminous pristine Light of hope and righteousness.
