I felt brave and slightly empowered with the knowledge that I had actually done it. I had boarded that plane and let it bring me here to start over.

Wasn't that what we were all doing in some way, trying to belong to something better than ourselves? Trying to evolve our thoughts and expand our minds to different exciting new possibilities. Wasn't that what escapism was all about?
I held the pencil in my hand as though I had been Harry Potter finding the right wand.
sometimes people become so absorbed in their own happiness, that they fail to see the truth behind a lie.
It wasn't that I thought they wouldn't understand but I had felt so guilty from the last time I was broken, that I never wanted anyone to look at me like that again.
“You’re not ready for the truth, Keira, and I'm not the only one keeping secrets, now am I?” he said looking down at my arms, and a flush of blood ran to my cheeks at the mention of them.
“Likewise… presumption is, after all, the mother from where all mistakes are born,”
I wanted the truth but all I got were more puzzles that I couldn't decipher.
think if I had died right now, then I would have died knowing the true meaning of lost in lust, faith in fate, happiness in hope, and finally, locked in love.
Where love takes you, and the choices you made on which road to travel down… that wasn’t the point. And it wasn’t about the destination either, it was down to who you wanted on that journey with you, and who you needed standing next to you when you finally arrived.

You must understand that God gave life, but that it is your gift to do with it how you choose to live it. He does not dictate how you do this, nor does he negate your decisions. You must realise that he is neutral when it comes to your free will, you are a product of your own choices and this sometimes, no matter how terrible, well… they just happen for a reason,”
“Then answer me this… how can you know the good without the understanding of evil? How can you know happiness without experiencing misery, pleasure without pain? These things are essential parts of life that need to be faced and endured.”
“Yes, I love him,” I said, feeling every word as though my heart had finally spoken the truth to the one it mattered the most.
