When Noah worked the wood with tools, he was doing the same thing that Jesus did millennia later in his father’s shop. And the two of them together were doing the same thing some other carpenter was doing when he fashioned the cross upon which Jesus was going to be crucified. They were all doing the same thing—working with wood—and that thing they were doing tells us nothing about the sinfulness of the activity or not.
