A product manager’s job is to lead their team to build products that solve their customer’s most important problems. They do this by understanding the customer problem, identifying the right products to build, and executing with their team to bring the product to market.

instead of going into a discussion with a goal of “How can I convince this person to see things my way?” I now have a goal of “How can we discover the truth together?”

it’s valuable to think of decisions as one-way or two-way doors. Two-way doors are decisions that can be easily reversed if you’re wrong, so prioritize decision speed. One-way doors are rarer. These decisions cannot be reversed easily, so try to gather more information if you’re uncertain.
