The most famous and venerated proof of quantum mechanics is the double-slit experiment. It reminded me of one of Matt’s favorite Einstein quotes, his famous tongue-in-cheek description of relativity: Time moves a lot faster when you’re sitting with a pretty girl than when you’re sitting on a hot stove.
Wasn’t that one of the secrets to a lasting marriage? When one person was down or doubting themselves, the other person lifted them up, made them believe. Made them better than they would be alone.
