“Under the extreme circumstances that arose in November of ’13,” he said, “it was agreed that Philip Kydd would act as guardian for his half sister until she reached twenty-one and as trustee of her estate until she either married or turned twenty-five, whichever should occur first. While that arrangement was admittedly hasty and expedient, we believe it’s been satisfactory, considering it was devised under duress.”
