Visual Chatbot learned to answer “I can’t tell; it’s in black and white,” even if the picture was very obviously not in black and white. It will answer “I can’t tell; I can’t see her feet” to questions like “What color is her hat?” It gives plausible excuses for confusion but in completely the wrong context.
