Three Stanford graduate students in the postdoctoral engineering program joined Tiller to make up the first imprinting team. The members of the team weren’t newbies, nor were they old hands yet. If they had any small advantage, it was that they all h...
This highlight has been truncated due to consecutive passage length restrictions.
In self-development, the students were skilled lifelong practitioners of meditation.
Later, I asked about the euphoria during the imprinting. Tiller said: “Our experimental results have a lot to do with subjective variables like emotions and meaning, which is another way to say love.
Tiller calls the imprinted device an “Intention Host Device,” or IHD.
James Clerk Maxwell said: What is done by what is called myself is, I feel, done by something greater than myself in me.156
“extraneous healing intention” is also minimized. For example, we can be pretty sure that nobody’s grandmother—let alone her church group, is praying for cells in an experiment, as the case might be with hospitalized human subjects.158
He found that you cannot shield or block the subtle energy; it exists within a different set of rules.
To compare the effects of intention, a control unimprinted electronic device (UED) is necessary. Identical experiments are set up. In one, the IHD (factor being tested) is applied to a target (such as water) and in another, the UED serves as the control.
“macroscopic information entanglement.”
Ordinary kitchen aluminum foil proved an effective block for photons (the particle aspect of light). Next, the real trick: Faraday cages constructed from fine copper
wire mesh (a 0.16-inch grid) in a cylindrical geometry measuring twelve inches in diameter blocked electromagnetic radiation (the wave aspect of light), such as radio waves and microwaves.
“We can affect materials like water with purely our intention” The Frugal Science of Human Intention
“We challenge this conventional wisdom [of improbability] and choose to let the experimental data speak for itself.”163
Chemists will tell you it takes some energy—that is, ΔG (Gibbs free energy)—for the ion exchange necessary to move water to a higher or lower pH. When water has an injection of ΔG, the molecules speed up, and more molecules are bumping into each other and exchanging ions. The probability of pH change is raised. But there was no traditional energy or chemical input into the experimental system.
Tiller teamed up with a Stanford University colleague Michael Kohane. By formal training, Kohane is a biochemist and geneticist.
he had the know-how
how and expertise in biology that Tiller needed. They were a match made in science heaven.
It’s like a log of wood needs some ΔG, in the form of a match, to ignite it. Enzymes “light up” chemical reactions in your cells by reducing the required level of activation energy.
The central hypothesis Tiller and Kohane set about to test is whether the speed of the
ALP reaction, its thermodynamic activity, can be affected by intention alone under controlled conditions.
The ALP in each vessel is exposed to the devices—IHD, UED, or none—for thirty minutes while color changes are monitored spectrophotometrically.
The first question is why the UED control is worse than no device being present. Tiller felt that the EMF produced by the UED likely affects
ALP activity more than environmental EMF. The UED’s electromagnetic field appears to add to the “stress” for biological material.167
What does an increase in ALP mean in practical terms? I don’t know what it would mean for a living animal or human, but I am willing to wager that ALP releasing phosphate faster could lead to better energy production.
ALP removes phosphate to release energy.
The central hypothesis is that intention can affect the life cycle of the Drosophila.
Tiller’s intention reads: “To increase the ATP energy ration to inactive energy such that the larval developmental time to adult is twenty-five percent shorter or better.”
Development time is an indicator of fitness, since healthier offspring take less time to mature into adults.
The results: larvae inside the Faraday cage without any device had the best, most rapid developmental time compared with the other three setups.
It is shown that a key molecule in metabolism and flow of energy in biological systems is positively enhanced in the fruit fly exposed to the IHD.
Can intention help one of many vexing medical problems that plague humans? Can intention research be bridged, or translated, from the lab to real-world medicine?
With each experiment replicated hundreds of times, the human instruction came into manifestation via the IHD. The UEDs do not demonstrate that capability. A device requires human subtle energy and human intelligence (or information) to be activated.174
There is no imminent technological magic bullet that is truly revolutionary. Bill Buxton, a father of the touch screen and a principal researcher at Microsoft, says: “The people who have the tech skills may not have the cultural and social skills. It’s only when you get all those skills together that you get the perfect storm for the next breakthrough.”177
analysis of the air temperature data from the different spatial locations around the room revealed harmonics that “nested,” one into another, perfectly. The recorded frequencies of the various temperature waves were all multiples of each other on paper.
Even more remarkable, Fourier analysis of the oscillations of water pH and water temperature also revealed nesting harmonics, even though the wave shapes of the two different properties were dissimilar.
The oscillations were in a nondispersive medium. In Tiller’s deduction, nondispersive means the physical vacuum or empty space.
Two towering theories looked incompatible: Einstein’s theory of special relativity, which describes the behavior of objects moving near the speed of light, and quantum mechanics, which describes the behavior of tiny objects like electrons.
The Dirac equation was dramatic. It told physicists how to turn classical mechanical systems into quantum ones.
When a cosmic ray with enough energy interacts with the vacuum, an electron is ejected so that it becomes physically observable. To
conserve mass and charge, a “hole” is left behind.
“antielectron,” which he went on to name the “positron” for its positive charge.
The very existence of antimatter hints at deep symmetries in particle physics.
Once a field or energy perturbs the vacuum, particles like electrons, the Higgs boson, and others come into being.
Dirac arrived at the relationship between matter and empty space by equations. Merrell-Wolff, on the other hand, reached a similar position by meditation.
The Dirac equation described the electron spin or magnetic moment and his theory furnished a new connection between electricity and the weakest possible magnetic charge.
Electric monopoles exist in the form of particles that have a positive or negative charge, such as protons or electrons.
These positive and negative designations are arbitrary labels for the two opposite electric charges.
The parallel breaks down when we attempt to find the magnetic counterpart for the electric charge.
Dirac’s theory pointed to something puzzling. It predicted the magnetic monopole, a north or south pole in isolation.
as of 2019, more than eighty years since Dirac predicted magnetic monopoles, they remain elusive to science.
