Rosch, MD, gives the prediction of orthopedic surgeon and proponent of bioelectric medicine, the late C. Andrew L. Bassett.229 Bassett’s view was that, in the diseases to come, it was safe to predict that bioelectromagnetics would assume a therapeutic importance equal to or greater than that of pharmacology and surgery today.
